The Personal Watercraft Association of Australia (PWCAA) is a member organisation that brings together enthusiasts, dealers and manufacturers to protect your right to ride and to help you get behind the bars and out on the water more often.

PWCAA Events

To effect event insurance cover all PWCAA and PWCAA chapter activities and events must be registered on the official events calendar.

The categories of events the PWCAA and PWCAA chapters may promote include fundraisers for AMA Charity (jet treks, etc), working bees (beach/ waterway clean ups, etc), social events (BBQ's, gatherings, etc), pleasure rides (group tours, runs, etc) and racing events.

All events organised by the PWCAA or a PWCAA chapter are insured by the AMA, which means we must comply with the guidelines, best practice and operational standards as set by the AMA.

All AMA sanctioned events are required to comply with the General Events Guideline and is the basis for which all PWCAA events operate. Under the AMA guidelines, the main activities of the PWCAA or a PWCAA chapter are identified as 'social gatherings' and 'pleasure rides'

All PWCAA social gatherings are to be governed by the Social Event Guidelines and are to be managed by an Official called the Event Organiser. All PWCAA pleasure rides are to be governed by the Non Circuit Guidelines and are to be supervised by an Official called the Event Leader

PWCAA Chapters

A chapter is a place where members can make new friends with like-minded individuals who are passionate about PWC's.

The purposes of a chapter shall be to:

  • support the implementation of the objects and aims of the PWCAA;
  • promote events organised by the PWCAA and PWCAA chapters and encourage participation by fellow members in these events; and
  • develop relations between fellow PWC enthusiasts and associated PWC dealers or retail stores.

A chapter shall be family-oriented, non-political and non religious.
